OAC - Outdoor Adventure Camp

OAC is Back! SkiHut and Duluth Cross-country Club (DXC) have partnered to provide this unique, active, educational, outdoor adventure camp (OAC) for kids ages 6 to 12 years old. Campers will learn the basics for gear use, water safety, trail etiquette, leave no trace while learning the fundamental skills to help gain confidence for mountain biking, kayaking and SUP boarding. Teambuilding activities will emphasize social responsibility to encourage and teach respect and kindness for others and the outdoors.

Camp Focus:

• Mountain Biking Skills and Trail Rides

• Basic Bike Maintenance

• Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

• Kayaking

• Water Safety

• Great Lakes Aquarium Water on the Move

• Leave No Trace and Trail Etiquette

 

Camp Agenda:

Monday: Introduction | MTB Skills | Kayak, SUP, Swim Time

Tuesday: MTB Maintenance | Swift Water Rescue, Kayak, SUP, Swim Time

Wednesday: MTB Skills | Aquarium Guest | Kayak, SUP, Swim Time

Thursday: MTB Skills | Teambuilding Activities | Kayak, SUP, Swim Time

Friday: MTB Skills | Teambuilding Activities | Kayak, SUP, Swim Time
