Rode lists the "Middle Europe" range as - 1/-3C. For us, think higher and drier climates
The range for "North Europe" is - 3/-10C. On our continent, think maritime
Despite the official recommendation, most find the optimal range is far lower. In new snow it

Relatively new to the hallowed and respected Rode wax line-up, the Rode Blue Super Extra has a niche that isn't replicated by any other. Noted on the tin is the humidity range, 40-90%. While this is a fairly wide humidity range it does encompass higher humidity snow well, so Pacific Northwest skiers, pay attention!
Rode lists a "middle europe" temperature range of -1 to -5 C°. For North America, think Rockies
The "northern europe" range is -3 to -10 C°, a very wide range and closer to North American maritime climates
Like most Rode waxes, it is fast. Best grip is in falling or new fallen humid snow before glazing has occurred

Rode Super Weiss kick wax -1°C – -4°C (30°F – 25°F) can be used as a cover or on its own in newer snow conditions.

Chola is one of the most durable klisters on the market. If you are using a softer klister on top, it is necessary to have a thin layer of blue or violet klister between to help it bond. Because Chola freezes so hard, it has been known to chip off softer waxes ontop that cannot properly adhere to the wax. This inbetween layer will also need to be heated onto the ski in order to bond correctly.

MULTIGRADE (21F to 42F)
This one is killer in coarse snow and when the tracks are falling apart. If you're building a klister collection, this better be in there!
$32.00
ENDURANCE glide wax: Fluor-free hydrocarbon-based wax suitable for long distance competitions or tours. Specifically created to last a long time in any snow condition and maintain a stable and fast performance over the course of up to 80km. Endurance glide will likely not be as fast as the R line waxes at first, but it is extremely durable and holds speed over distance. It can be used alone or as a base wax for liquids.

The amount varies depending on the distance you have to cover and the abrasion of the snow. If you are not in a temperate environment is useful to use a Gas Flame AR25 to heat and soften the wax.

The VXPS is the softest of the T-Line softer/warmer waxes. Formulated for fresh, fine grained conditions. It is similar to the Violet Extra as being a bit stickier. VXPS is for those conditions where there is often a choice between good grip or good glide. This wax will give you both! You can even heat up VXPS a little to increase your glide, but this will reduce your grip.
