FTW (Femme | Trans | Women) Enduro Race

Beginner/new rider friendly. Easy pedal in a ‘group-ride’ setting up 7-bridges road, into the Lester River Trail (Duluth Traverse), approximately 2.5 miles of easy riding on the Duluth Traverse to the Lester River overlook, where the race stage will start. From the overlook, riders will queue up and be released in 30-second increments down the remaining section of Duluth Traverse to the bottom (approximately 1.25 miles), without concern about uphill traffic. This option is perfect for those who have never tried a mountain bike race before and is intended to be a low-pressure, fun race or ride!

 

Combination of beginner and intermediate trails. Riders of the two stage race will also pedal from Lester River Park, up 7-bridges road and will turn left at the top onto the gravel Skyline Pkwy, pedal up one more hill and cut in to the Hawk Ridge trail at the overlook above the switchbacks, where the first stage will start. The course will wind down the switchbacks at the east-end of the Hawk Ridge trail (intermediate /blue square) and will jump onto Amity West (intermediate), travel down Amity west to the sledding hill above the Lester Chalet and finish on the far end of the sledding hill (approximately 1 mile). Then riders will exit the trail down the snowmobile trail, back to 7-bridges road, climb back up the road to the top, enter the Lester River DT and follow to the overlook. Stage 2 will follow the same route as the 1-stagers, from the overlook to the terminus of the Duluth Traverse - approximately 1.25 miles.

5pm number pickup

6pm rider meeting, followed by group roll-out.
