Ski Hut has been family owned and operated on the same street corner since 1955. Whether it was your first bike, Nordic skis, downhill skis, snowboard, or boat, we’ve been here for you. 3 Generations of Passion

Originally founded by Wes Neustel in 1955, Ski Hut has now been overseen by 3 generations of Neustel’s, Wes, Scott (who you may know as ‘Potter’) and now Dave! The Neustels have played a significant roll in many outdoor organizations and programs over the years to make the sports they’re passionate about available and accessible for others in the Duluth-Superior area!

Chris ‘Whitey’ White

If you’ve been into the shop for a new bike or skis, you’ve probably met Chris White. Whitey has shared his passion for the outdoors with Ski Hut customers for almost 40 years, his enthusiasm for the sports he’s involved in is almost as contagious as his laugh and his expertise and dedication to his outdoor community is unmatched.

Our Nordic buyer and manager Mick Dodds emphasizes the importance of how changing the way we think about going outside impacts the experience we have. Some day’s may be cold, but we all feel a bit better after getting active and being outdoors, especially with others who share our outdoor interests!
